Paper Track™ - the greenest toilet tissue in the UK
Paper Track is an innovative new product from PHS Direct, and is the greenest toilet tissue and centrefeed available in the UK.
Not only is it 100% recycled, but it is only produced from waste paper generated in the UK, meaning it carries substantially fewer carbon miles than all the other recycled paper on the market.
In addition to this, the production of Paper Track is zero waste - any waste water from the mill is cleaned and returned to the neighbouring river which boasts a wide range of wildlife including trout. Other waste products are used as fertiliser by farmers, making the production 'positively green'.
As well as this, the Paper Track scheme collects the waste paper that your organisation generates, ensuring that it is turned into your toilet tissue. And provides great communication materials for staff to encourage them to reduce, reuse and recycle - in essence, to really think about where their waste paper 'goes' when it is thrown in the bin.
How does Paper Track work?
Office waste paper from your organisation is collected securely and taken to a paper mill near Stockport. The mill recycles the Paper Track paper into toilet tissue and centrefeed, and PHS Direct sell it back to Paper Track scheme customers. It's that simple - a really easy way to act in a more sustainable manner.
The second part of Paper Track is to engage your staff and to encourage them to think about the waste paper they dispose. Recycling bins and toilet tissue dispensers are stickered to inform staff how the 'closed loop' Paper Track scheme works. The Paper Track website will show how many trees have been saved by using the recycled paper, and participants will receive regular updates as to how much they have saved in resources.
Is Paper Track more expensive than normal paper?
Here's the great thing - NO! Paper Track will cost no more than your current toilet tissue, and will actually SAVE you money in the longterm as staff will reduce their waste once engaged by the Paper Track ethos.
