If you're a publican, the smoking ban has no doubt created a big headache for you when it comes to tidying up your pub garden.  But it's not just the smokers publicans have to bare in mind when creating a pub garden.   Utilising the outside space of your pub makes sense in more ways than one so why waste the opportunity to get more customers into your facilities?

Creating natural shelter

The British climate isn't great at the best of times so if you want to keep your customers happy outdoors, you need to keep them warm, sheltered and dry.  We don't do canopies or covers at Greenleaf so we can't help you keep your customers dry.  But we can help you provide natural shelters and wind barriers in your pub garden by using plants and containers.  Plants are nature's sound barriers - and they don't half look nice too!   

Hard Landscaping

Muddy grass is the last thing your customers or your carpets will appreciate so you'll need to think about hard landscaping in your gardens.  This doesn't have to be a mamoth task and often a few paving slabs, gravel and walkways can do the trick to make your pub garden more accessible.

Keeping your customers safe

Decking looks great but can be pretty treacherous in the winter or even just when it's wet.  Anti-slip strips are a great product because as a business the last thing you want is an injured customer! 

These anti-slip strips and sheets are cut to size and can be set in or placed on top of decking and steps.  And the other good thing about anti-slip is that it won't rot either so it really does do the trick all round!
