How does the Smart technology work?
Residents use a pay station to credit a laundry card – the card can be reusable, disposable or key fob style, and the system is so flexible we may even be able to incorporate an existing card or fob system that your site may already have in use. We recommend the pay stations are located anywhere on site which is both accessible and secure, for example a reception area, shop, canteen etc, and can also provide a unit that connects to your PC system to allow your receptionist to credit the laundry cards.
Card scan stations located in the laundry debit users laundry cards and start the laundry equipment via wireless technology. Both pay and card scan stations feature LCD screens displaying user instructions, making the system incredibly easy to use.
With a transparent and open-book accounting system, all cash collection details will be regularly sent to you. All equipment contains tamper-proof counters ensuring a complete audit trail with regards to money credited and collected, and all figures can be inspected by you at any time.
