Laundryguard O3 – the proven 'Ozone Disinfection' solution for your laundry
Although thermal disinfection is widely accepted as the best way to disinfect laundry, operator error can often mean that those items that need complete disinfection only go through a standard wash cycle.
To overcome this problem, PHS Laundryserv has launched the Laundryguard O3 system to guarantee effective disinfection every time.
The Laundryguard system uses Ozone technology first applied to purify bottled and drinking water to systematically kill bacteria, viruses and moulds including MRSA and Clostridium Difficile.
The Science
O3 consists of 3 Oxygen atoms that create an unstable molecule and it’s this instability that is key to its disinfection properties. As the O3 decomposes back to oxygen, it oxidises and destroys any micro-organism that it comes into contact with. When inserted in to the wash cycle, it’s this oxidizing action that provides powerful laundry disinfection.
