PHS Group releases Corporate Responsibility report
16 March 2011
The PHS Group, the UK’s leading provider of workplace services, has today released its first Corporate Responsibility (CR) report. This is the first time that the PHS Group has published a dedicated CR report and follows a recent strategic review of this area.
The report, which is designed to be an honest appraisal of the Group’s drive to become a more sustainable business, highlights many examples of the Group’s long-standing and market-leading commitment to the areas of Health & Safety, Environment, People and Community. However, it also identifies a number of key improvement areas and outlines the organisation’s approach for reaching its 3 year strategic goals.
As Peter Cohen, the PHS Group’s Chief Executive comments “It might be surprising for some to learn that this is our first Corporate Responsibility report but this is not a reflection of our commitment to this area, more a recognition that we haven’t always been the best at promoting our achievements. As an organisation with nearly 50 years experience operating in complex and highly regulated markets, environmental and ethical Best Practice is fundamental to our operation and just part of ‘what we do’.”
The report can be downloaded here and further information on this area can be obtained by emailing footsteps@phs.co.uk
