Waste Equipment Servicing and Maintenance
01 November 2009
PHS Wastekit, the UK’s leading supplier of waste balers and compactors, has launched its new service contract options for the servicing and maintenance of waste handling equipment.
These flexible contracts offer a range of options, in order to extend the life of a variety of waste equipment. Designed to prevent costly and disruptive breakdowns, these contracts cover all types of waste equipment including balers, both vertical and horizontal, compactors, both bin and bag, shredders, and also non-Orwak equipment.
The first option is a Scheduled contract, which is available on any make or model of equipment, regardless of its age. It includes two scheduled preventative maintenance calls each year and unlimited call-outs in case of breakdown. If replacement parts are required, these are not included in the price.
The Priority contract is available on any new waste handling equipment and, like the Scheduled contract, includes two preventative maintenance calls each year and unlimited call-outs. Under this contract however, all replacement parts and labour are included in the annual fee.
Finally, the Complete Care contract is the highest level of cover, and is available on any machine in the Orwak range. This great value contract includes the cost of the equipment rental enabling you to spread the cost of your waste equipment, thus avoiding large capital outlay. It too includes two preventative maintenance calls each year and unlimited call-outs, and also the added bonus of all replacement parts.
Martin Hewitt, Commercial Director for PHS Wastekit says, “We’re pleased to be introducing this new service to our customers and indeed anyone that has waste equipment on site. We’re confident that our nationwide service, coupled with an experienced and qualified team, will enable us to keep their machinery in working order, therefore saving money.”
He adds, “These service contracts offer great value for money, as well as the flexibility to fit with the customer’s needs.”
Each service contract option also includes approved and certified hydraulics and electrical testing, 24 hour breakdown response and a full audit trail. Servicing and maintenance is undertaken by a nationwide team of fully qualified service engineers, with many years experience servicing a vast range of equipment.
