The new Agricultural Waste Regulations are now in force, meaning that farm waste is no longer excluded from environmental protection legislation and is defined as controlled waste. This essentially means that Duty of Care applies to all waste produced on farms. To help farmers reduce the cost of compliance, and to ensure that they are not compromising the new regulations, PHS has put together a guide and some practical tips to ensure cost-effective compliance and a smooth transition to full accordance with the regulations:
