Carbon Reporting and Reduction

As a Group we monitor and report on our own carbon emissions.  This is in line with the GHG Protocol, as part of our Footsteps project. This Group initiative is designed to work out our carbon footprint, set reduction targets and promote Best Practice within our Divisions.

The Footsteps initiative is also designed to identify and support carbon reduction projects and has been actively involved in the development of operational plans such as Greener Fleet tracking and Atlas routing. These initiatives alone have helped the Group to reduce our emissions linked to vehicle fuel usage by an average 15%.
