Very professional service from the outset and their focus purely on testing impressed us.  The most notable factor has been the speed at which the testing work has been done and that's thanks to the efficiency of the whole team and the technology they have developed.

The Pitfalls of Electrical Testing

Pitfalls

The most obvious pitfall is failing to fulfil your responsibility as a Duty Holder and comply with the appropriate standards. Invalidating insurance is one of the dangers from this negligence, not to mention the serious implications of accident, injury or resultant fire.

Failing to complete remedial repairs is a common mistake. When test reports are received they can be filed before their findings are read and acted upon. This happens surprisingly often.

Worryingly, there is no restriction on ‘limitations’ applied in electrical safety testing. Suppliers can choose to test as much or as little of an installation as they decide, proving they list the limitations of that choice on certification. This is easy to overlook and yet has dramatic implications for the confidence any Duty Holder can have in the testing they commission.
