Providing a colourful safety play surface
Play Matta offers a colourful anti-slip playground safety surfacing system, bringing increased safety to all hard surfaced play areas. Unlike some other forms of playground surfacing that require a concrete or wooden surround to contain the surface, Play Matta installations are fitted with a ramped rubber edging. This allows easy access for wheelchair users and pushchairs whilst minimising the risk of trips and falls when entering or exiting the play area.
Play Matta can be installed into a new playground over a hard core base, or can also be fitted on top of any existing hard surfaced playground. Play Matta is available in a range of 16 colours enabling each installation to be customised to a client’s design requirements.
For areas that have both grass and hard surfacing, the unique interlocking design of Safety and Play Matta tiles make it possible to combine Play Matta with Safety Matta, giving the ultimate safety surfacing installation.
Play Matta safety surfacing is guaranteed for 10 years and is virtually maintenance free once installed.
