In March 2025, the Competition and Markets Authority approved the acquisition of Citron Hygiene by Bidvest Group. As a result of this acquisition, Citron Hygiene UK has been integrated into phs Group (part of the Bidvest portfolio) in the UK.
As of Monday 30th June 2025, all customer accounts held with Citron Hygiene have officially transitioned to become accounts with phs Group.
