The challenge

Stonehaven Residential Care Home is a family-run home located in Lincolnshire. It can cater for up to 26 residents and employs 30 members of staff. The Care Home is based in a beautiful Victorian Property and prides itself on being a comfortable and welcoming environment that works to enhance the quality of life of its residents.

As part of their dedication to constantly improving the well-being of their residents, the care home was looking for a way to reduce the spread of germs and eliminate odours/issues.

The solution

phs visited Stonehaven Residential Care Home for a consultation to ensure the most suitable and cost effective solution could be found. The needs of both residents and staff were considered and an AERAMAX device was recommended as the best option.

It was chosen due its ability to capture viruses, germs and odours, and it’s 24/7 operation made it the perfect choice for a residential care home.

The benefits

AERAMAX® devices provide an easy way to purify and improve interior air quality. They use HEPA filtration technology to eliminate odours while removing 99.9% of harmful germs, viruses allergens, and other unwanted irritants from the air.

The devices are compact and can be wall mounted, which means they won’t take up any floorspace. The clean air they generate also helps improve our recall and ability to concentrate on tasks.

The result

The owners of Stonehaven Residential Care Home are pleased that unwanted odours are constantly being removed for the air, which has left the air feeling much fresher.

Viruses can spread quite quickly in care homes, but since installing the device the spread of viruses amongst residents has significantly reduced.
