The challenge
The reception area at a Network Rail site was experiencing persistent issues with unwanted odours. This was creating an unwelcoming environment for staff and visitors. Reception areas give visitors a first impression of the business they are visiting, therefore maintaining a consistently fresh and pleasant atmosphere is essential.
Facilities service provider Mitie worked with phs to identify a solution that would neutralise bad odours and deliver a reliable, continuous fragrance without placing an ongoing maintenance burden on site staff
The solution
phs recommended the phs OXY-Supreme, an intelligent air freshener that uses oxygenated fuel cell technology to deliver a precise, consistent fragrance experience.
Unlike traditional aerosol systems, the OXY-Supreme works by using oxygen to release a continuous measured dose of fragrance from an internal bladder onto a cellulose pad, allowing it to disperse evenly throughout the environment. This means fragrance intensity remains consistent from day one right through to the end of the cartridge life.
